Aarrow Acorn Design ExcellenceThe team of expert designers behind Aarrow stoves has a combined experience of 45 years. They have thoroughly investigated every element of the process that turns wood into useful heat as part of their design process. These investigations have kept Aarrow at the forefront of stove design, developing features such as the airwash system, secondary burning and the PADS system. The end result is a highly efficient and controllable stove that is easy to use – stoves from Aarrow can burn wood for a longer period of time, with industry leading efficiency ratings of over 80%. For stove users, this means less fuel is used and more heat is generated.
Innovations with Aarrow Stoves PADS (Primary Air Diversion System)
No other manufacturer offers a complete system to maximise the efficiency of both wood and solid fuel. We call it PADS (Primary Air Diversion System). It allows an under draught of air beneath solid fuel or an over draught for wood to ensure each fuel burns in its favoured environment. Over Draft (image below) Grate & PADS set for wood burning, providing an over draught to the fuel.
Under Draft (image below) Grate & PADS set for solid fuel burning, providing an under draught to the fuel.
Airwash System Aarrow’s renowned airwash system directs pre-heated air evenly across the fire door. This creates a shield between the fire chamber and the glass, ensuring you always see the flames through sparkling clear glass. Secondary Burn The secondary burn system reduces unburnt gasses and tar from escaping into the atmosphere. This results in greater burning efficiency, a cleaner chimney and less pollution.
Warranty Since the first Aarrow stove was made, 25 years ago, the Aarrow brand has been associated with truly excellent design and impeccable quality. Today, each and every stove is hand-crafted within our purpose-built factory, to European Standard EN13240. To ensure an exceptional build quality is consistently achieved, each department within the production line thoroughly inspects the work completed before them. Once a stove has been built, it is checked against a set guideline by our quality control team. We don’t just build our stoves in Dorset, we also source as many of the raw materials as possible from the UK. Each supplier is carefully selected and strong relationships, built over time, ensure high quality raw materials are always used in the manufacture of our stoves. This is why we are currently the only stove manufacturer to offer a lifetime guarantee.
